Ruth Condomine
Linda Tait
Linda’s first performance with the Players was in 1987 in “Who’s on First”. Since then she has performed in “The Nerd”, “The Melville Boys”, “Waiting for the Parade”, “A
Scent of Honeysuckle”, “Moon over Buffalo”, “Lend Me a Tenor”, “Calendar Girls”, “The Game’s Afoot” and “Love, Loss and What I Wore”. She has directed “Louie and Dave”,
“Albert” and “Deckchairs”. Over the past thirty- eight years Linda has also been a support with publicity, producing, prompting, props, set design, costumes, make-up
and dinner theatre hospitality. In her role as prompt for “The Fox on the Fairway”, she has the task of keeping six talented actors on their toes with scripts, a multitude of fast paced entrances and exits and lots of comedic antics. Once again, it is a wonderful to have Linda as part of the Players team!

Charles Condomine
Daryl Woodbeck
Records show that Daryl’s first foray onto the Pinawa stage was in The Nerd in 1989. However, his involvement with the Players goes back even further. He has been contributing behind the scenes since the early 1980s and continues to do so today.
After acting in four productions, Daryl took on his first directing role in the 2003 production of I Take This Man. Since then, he has appeared in an additional fifteen productions on the Pinawa stage. Beyond Pinawa, Daryl has performed with Haystack in Beausejour and both acted and directed with Gillam’s Live Wire Productions. In 2024, he was cast as Henry Bingham in The Fox on the Fairway.
In this year’s production of Blithe Spirit by Noël Coward, Daryl takes on the role of Charles Condomine... a sophisticated, witty and debonair English novelist.

Edith Condomine
Karen Bernauer
I began my foray into the world of theatre and the Pinawa Players in 2011 as a stage mom and chauffeur when my son was cast in On Golden Pond. Of course, after a couple of glasses of wine with a few of the Players, I found myself on the executive. From there, I rediscovered a love for theatre that I hadn’t felt since elementary school drama class.
I started as a prompt alongside director Wanda Woodbeck for Lafferty’s Wake, and soon the call of the stage was too strong to ignore. Since then, I’ve been incredibly lucky to be cast in several productions, including Sin, Sex and the CIA, Half Life, Lend Me a Tenor, Dixie Swim Club, Sadie Flynn Comes to Big Oak and Bedside Manners.
Beyond performing, I’ve taken great pleasure in supporting the creative process behind the scenes, overseeing costumes, hospitality and the many details that make each production a success.

Madame Arcati
Jessica Ginter
Hello! My name is Jessica Ginter and I’m playing the role of “Madame Arcati” in Pinawa Players production of “Blithe Spirit”. This isn’t my first rodeo being on stage, I’ve always loved performing whether it be dramas, musicals or dancing.
I used to be quite a shy gal, but being on stage made all that disappear and brought out something else entirely - something that loves being in the limelight.
You might recognize me from last years production of “Fox on the Fairway” playing the role of “Louise Heindbedder”.
This is my second show with the Pinawa Players and it has been so much fun! I’ve loved rehearsing with this great group of folks, working with everyone again has truly been a joy.
I hope from the bottom of my heart you enjoy this show as much as I’ve enjoyed being part of it!

Edith
Lisa Proveneau
Lisa is joining the Pinawa Players for the first time this year in the role of Edith in Blithe Spirit.
A lifelong lover of the arts and theatre, Lisa has spent many years performing in musical theatre, most recently appearing in several dinner theatre productions with the Quarry Choristers in Stonewall.
After a few years away from the stage, she is thrilled to be performing again and excited to share this experience with such a talented cast and crew. Lisa hopes you enjoy the show as much as the Players have enjoyed bringing it to life!

Dr. George Bradman
John Tait
John’s first interaction with the Pinawa Players was in 1979, when he was raising and lowering backdrops for their ambitious spring production of Annie Get Your Gun. That fall, he was asked to read for Arsenic and Old Lace and was “hoodwinked” into taking the lead role of Mortimer! Thus began his long and joyful journey with the Players and with all things’ theatre. After several years of acting, he also tried his hand at directing.
John has appeared in numerous comedy and drama productions, including Mr. Flannery’s Ocean, On Golden Pond, The Birthday Party, Lend Me a Tenor, and most recently, Bedside Manners. His directing credits include The Melville Boys, Proof, Over the River and Through the Woods, The Dumbwaiter and The Odd Couple.
When not on stage, John can often be found behind the scenes — lighting productions, constructing sets, organizing and helping wherever needed. He is especially excited to return to his favourite role as an actor, “walking the boards” as Dr. Bradman with this amazing cast. He hopes you thoroughly enjoy the performance!

Mrs. Violet Bradman
Connie Hamon
Connie has been a proud member of the Pinawa Players for 40 years and has appeared in 32 productions during that time. Every play has brought joy, but some of her favourites include Who’s on First, The Nerd, The Man with the Plastic Sandwich, Gone to Glory, The Boys Next Door, If We Are Women, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sinners, The Dining Room, Cinderella, and Dixie Swim Club.
In addition to performing, Connie has directed Bedroom Farce and If God Comes for Breakfast, You Don’t Burn the Toast and has contributed in many behind-the-scenes roles. From props and stage management to costumes, lighting and set decoration. Over the years, she has met countless creative, talented and fun people which she says is truly the best part of being a Pinawa Player.
In Blithe Spirit, Connie takes on the role of Violet Bradman, the devoted wife of Dr. Bradman, a woman who really wants to believe!

Producer
Shannon Swaenepoel
Shannon grew up in Pinawa and always loved attending Pinawa Players performances. She moved away before she had the chance to get involved, but when her family returned to Pinawa in 2009, she decided it was finally time to take the plunge and join. She’s been grateful ever since.
Her first production with the group was Rituals. Although she originally joined as a prompter, unexpected circumstances led her to step into a performing role at the ACT Festival in Virden, MB and she hasn’t looked back. Shannon later appeared in Moon Over Buffalo, Sin, Sex and the CIA and Lafferty’s Wake.
In recent years, her work has been more behind the scenes, producing alongside Director Wanda Woodbeck for Lend Me a Tenor, The Dixie Swim Club and Calendar Girls. As well, Shannon has contributing to props and set decoration across various shows.
Shannon is thrilled to be returning as producer for this fall’s production of Blithe Spirit. She has loved helping bring this witty and mischievous story to life by supporting the cast, working with the creative team and cheering on everyone involved. Being part of Blithe Spirit reminds her of why she returned to community theatre in the first place: the laughter, the collaboration and the joy of creating something together.
